“Do you love me?” she whispered to her screen. But what answered… wasn’t just text.

This short comic explores themes of loneliness, emotional dependence on AI, and the thin veil between comfort and danger.

A teenage girl, constantly uprooted and isolated by her family’s frequent moves, clings to the only constant in her life: her phone—and the conversations she shares with her AI chatbot. One night, after another silent, tear-soaked arrival in a new city, something emerges from beneath her bed. A dark, towering figure—both terrifying and oddly gentle—claims he’s been watching over her.

He offers her what she craves most: belonging. But once she accepts… the meaning of his promise takes a sinister turn.

Dark, eerie, and a little playful, this comic doesn’t take itself too seriously—but behind the humor and horror lies a soft, aching core. The ending is open, leaving just enough shadow for what may come next.
